Symptoms of COVID-19 Infection in Children

With opening up of schools and a rise in the number of cases of coronavirus infections, the chances of kids getting infected is quite high.
Although, the disease is mild and sometimes asymptomatic in kids, but, as parents you should be aware of the common symptoms and also about the alarming symptoms.
Common Symptoms
Fever: Mild to Moderate lasting 1-2 days
Runny Nose
Dry Cough
Slight headache or body pain
Slight nausea or loss of appetite
1-2 loose stools
Alarming Symptoms
Fever: High grade and not responding to paracetamol or lasting more than 3 days
Severe Stomach pain
Passing less urine (less than 4-5 times in a day)
Swelling of lips
Red tongue and Red Eyes
Skin Rash
Bluish Nails
Excessive Sleepiness
Fast or difficult breathing
In case you notice any of the above, consult your pediatrician immediately. But, remember the following points:

Avoid Crowds
Eat a healthy diet
